What is ec2 and how to configure it in amazon web services (aws)

Ec2 is a service that is provided by the amazon web service for your hosting websites or managing api. It is a virtual server, just like a server that you can put in your office or at home. if you want to setup a ec2, then you have to do the following things

create an account in aws - https://aws.amazon.com/

After creating the account go to the ec2 section 

Click on instance and then click on launch instance

Enter the server name

Select instance image i.e select which type of OS you want to deploy. select from the list we are taking Amazon Linux 2023  AMI. then select the type of architecture i.e. 64 or 32 bit

select the instance type. you can understand the instance as the resource which you want to allocate in your instance. we are take t2.micro which of 1GB RAM and 1 core CPU

now you have to create a key for connecting with the server. Click on the create new key pair. generate the .pem key and keep it in a safe place. Now click on Launch Instance. After a few seconds, your instance is ready to use. The next process is to allocate the elastic Ip to your instance. 

What is Elastic IP? Elastic IP is static IP that is never changed with a system reboot. If you don't allocate the elastic IP address, whenever your system reboots, the IP address will be changed. For allowing the Elastic IP address do the following things:- 

1. Go to the elastic IP
2. Allocate New Ip
3. Associate Ip address with your server

 After setup all now you can access your instance. by selecting your instance and clicking on connect.
